With broken hearts, the family of Bessie Violet Oldford announce her peaceful passing, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville at the age of 93 years. She is predeceased by her husband Fred; sons Tom (Ann) and Wilf; grandson Derrick, daughter-in-law Millicent; parents James and Emmie Russell; brothers Edward, Sam, Raymond, Herman and Thomas and sister Emily. Left with fond and loving memories her children Beulah (Randy), Lloyd and Linda (Todd); daughter-in-law Hazel; grandchildren Jim (Patty), Bruce (Roxanne) and Nicole (Adam); great grandchildren Nick, Ryan, Shannon, Alyssa and Nan’s pride and joy Macy; sisters-in-law June, Clara and Daphne, special friend Margaret and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge on Thursday, September 2 from 7-9 p.m., Friday, September 3 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, September 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Anglican Church, Lethbridge on Saturday, September 4, 2021 with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Brooklyn.
