Winston Avery – Fewer's Funeral Home

Passed away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital Clarenville on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 Winston Avery of Adeytown aged 75 years. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Violet Avery; wife Geraldine; son Jody; brothers Everett and Lindo. Left with fond and loving memories his sons Michael (Tammy) and Trevor (Lisa); grandchildren Mitchell (Sonja), Braeden, Kendra, Riley, Cole; great grandchildren Savanna and Madalyn; sister Vera Stoyles (Gerald); special partner Ann and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation to take place. Visitation will take place at Fewer`s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Thursday, September 9 from 7-9 PM and Friday, September 10 from 10 -12 Noon. A Memorial Service will take place at United Church, Deep Bight on Friday, September 10 at 2 PM with interment to follow at the United Church, Deep Bight. Covid rules will apply and be followed.

So sorry to hear of Winse passing. He was a awesome person, as was Geraldine. We have fond memories of them in Adeytown, and some not so fond, with Jodi’s untimely and tragic death. We hope, beyond hope, that he gets to reunite with them. Thinking of Micheal and Trevor and families. You were so lucky to have him as a father and grandfather, as I am sure will be your comfort

I had the great pleasure of knowing Winse when I was a child, as he was a close family friend of my grandmother, Mary Shea. It’s impossible to forget his caring disposition, warm smile, and kind eyes. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones; he was a wonderful man.
