Condolences

REID, Thomas – Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, April 1, 2021, Thomas Nelson Reid of Shoal Harbour, formerly of Bishops Falls, aged 87 years. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Shirley of 68 years; children Betty (Ray), Elaine (Bill), Garry (Debbie), Dennis (Glenda), Debbie (Harry), Rick and Dean (Peggy); his many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Daisy (Albert), Jean (Vic) and Ruby (Ron); brothers Cecil (Donna), Fred (Maxine) and Madeline (Phil); and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville by invitation only. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville (by invitation only due to Covid restrictions) with interment to follow at Pleasant Street Cemetery. In his memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Clarenville.

Uncle Tom I’m so sad that you had to leave us. You were a very big part of my life when I was growing up. You always made me feel welcome and safe. I feel some comfort knowing you are no longer in pain… I will miss you Love Maxine

So sorry to hear of uncle Toms passing , I will always remember his last visit with Dad as the two of them stood in my living room hugging and crying , they loved each other so much! My thoughts and prayers are with the family today.
