To Karen, Robyn, Nicole and all the family: Please know that you are not alone in your loss. I remember very well the kind hospitality Malc and Floss both shared whenever I visited New Chelsea, and especially their humour. It was a gift and a blessing to have known them. I pray you will know comfort, peace and hope in in assurance that they are together again. Malc has been welcomed home and continues to be surrounded by Love. With love and prayers, Beverly (and Stephen) Matthews (nee Rodgers)

Sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. He and my dad spent many an afternoon having a “drop” and laughing, arguing and telling tales. Your mom and him visited us quite often and were very welcome in our home.

    Regards

    Dear Karen and Family,
We would like to express our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Uncle Malcolm.
We remember Uncle Malc as welcoming when we visited him and Aunt Floss. There was always an invitation to stay longer and have a lunch or whatever meal was due at the time. He was a social man who enjoyed meeting and talking to people and always “in the know” about local and world events. He chose to return to school later in life to acquire a new skill and went on to have a career with Marine Atlantic, requiring being away from home for extended periods. He is to be admired for having made this sacrifice to provide for his family.
We will miss his phone calls to check on how we were doing, as he did this regularly with friends and family members. He will be fondly remembered by many people.
May the memories of your father provide comfort at this time.

    Dear Karen & Family,
I was saddened to to hear from Ralph of your Father’s passing. I met you Father Frank, your Mother Florence
and you Karen many years ago on a visit with my Father to New Chelsea. We had a lot of laughs and told many stories that I still remember. Over the years I hoped that I would be able to visit again, but it never worked out. I send my Condolences and caring thoughts to you & your Family.
