Passed away in the presence of her family at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Friday, November 25, 2022 Thelma Bertha Keough, nee Young, of Plate Cove East, formerly of Burlington, aged 93 years. Predeceased by her husband William; parents Sydney and Florence Lavinia Young; sisters Retta Elliott and Evelyn Bowers. Left with fond and loving memories her children, Mary Keough (Mike Mills), St. John’s, Cletus Keough (Judy Cullen) Plate Cove East, Gerard Keough, Plate Cove East, Theresa (Tim) Shaw, Pefferlaw, ON, Larry (Debbie) Keough, Jamestown; grandchildren, Justin Keough, Raina White, Kally Keough(Ash), Mitchell & Shenna Russell; sister Dulcie Kelly; brothers, Willis (Audrey) Young, Burlington, Roger Young, Burlington, Stewart (Bernice) Young, Sunnyside; sister-in-law Katherine Mitchell of USA, brother-in-law Felix Keough of Plate Cove East, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Roman Catholic Church, Plate Cove East. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Plate Cove East. In her memory donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Plate Cove East. Our mom was the essence of beauty and love. She saw the good in all and loved her family unconditionally. Her faith was limitless. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and had a heart of gold. Until we all meet again, mom, on the other distant shore, we will hold you forever in our hearts.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Roman Catholic Church, Plate Cove East. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Plate Cove East.
