Ida Hickey April 15, 1931 - November 22, 2022

Resting at Roman Catholic Church in Southern Harbour Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and Thursday, November 24, 2022 from 10-5 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place Friday, November 25, 2022  at 2:00 P.M. from the Roman Catholic Church Southern Harbour, with  interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Southern Harbour.  In her memory flowers greatfully accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or to a charity of one’s choice.

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor In Clarenville on Tuesday,  November 22, 2022 Ida Hickey of Southern Harbour, age 91 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Laura Lake; husband Joseph, son Stephen; sons in law Conrad Clarke and Anthony Ward; brother William Lake; sisters Mary (Fergus ) Hickey, Elizabeth Lake; brothers in law Alfred Crann and Peter Kennedy.  Left with fond and loving memories her children Sandra, Nellie (Norm) Wareham, Laura (Rick) Clarke, Mary (Ches) Clarke, Marg (Gary) Kearley, Jenny Clarke (Chris), Frances (Baxter) Berkshire, Joanne (Darren) Thorne, Jamie (Nicole) Hickey; grandchildren Rodney, Sean, Mandy, Wendy, Derek, April, Amanda, Ashley, Kerri, Leslie, Vanessa, Jenelle, Bradley, Justin, Perry, Chad, David, Jeff, Craig, Kayla, Nicholas, Marcus, Zachary, Alexandria, Stephanie, Kathleen, Carter; 27 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Marg, Anna, and Imelda; brother Jim (Mary); Gerald (Betty); and a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Southern Harbour Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and Thursday, November 24, 2022 from 10-5 and 7-9 P.M.
