KEARLEY, Selena – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Selena Kearley on Tuesday,February 02, 2021 at the G B Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, Selena Kearley, of Grand Le Pierre, age 98 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles & Susanna Kearley, long time companion Kenneth Buffett, daughter Doris Matthews, son in law Leonard and brother in law, Reverend Edward George Fizzard, niece Sandra Coombs, nephews, Eric & Michael Fizzard and Harold Hynes. Left with broken hearts but loving memories are her sister Irene Fizzard; nieces, Marilyn, Donna, Patricia, Roxanne & nephew Roger and many great nieces & nephews, especially Zachary for his loving devotion to her while at G B Cross Memorial Hospital; special caregiver Marlene Fizzard, who provided exceptional care and personal attention. A large circle of family and friends , especially Kevin Fizzard & Helen Bolt. Selenas family extends special thanks to Public Health Nurse Cheryl Fiander, Nurse Practitioner Cora Newhook and the nursing staff at G B Cross Memorial Hospital for their kindness & support. At Selenas request , cremation will take place and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fewer’s Funeral Home , where a burial will take place at a later date.
