Melvina Froude July 24, 1946 - January 11, 2021

Melvina Froude of Burgoynes Cove passed away peacefully at Dr. GB Cross Memorial Hospital on January 11, 2021, aged 74 years.  She is predeceased by daughter Patsy Patricia, and parents Mary and Caleb Pelley.  Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 59 years, Leslie, children Cindy (Rodger), Diana, Gary (Shanna), Irene (Anthony), grandchildren Amanda, Jamie, Matthew, Michael, April, Darnell, Bree, and Amber, as well as great-grandchildren, brother Oliver (Minnie), brother-in-law Ralph (Rebecca), sister-in-law Sarah, and an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends. Melvina was a devoted wife, a selfless, warm and generous woman, who was always there to bring a smile, to listen, or to lend advice to anyone. She enjoyed sight-seeing, and especially loved doing crafts with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends.  She made such a positive impact in all of our lives, and has left a legacy that will never be forgotten.  Her kind soul and beautiful smile will be forever missed. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.

    So sorry to read of Melvina’s passing. We were friends many years ago when we grew up next door in Harcourt. Deepest condolences to Les, Oliver and all of her family. It’s amazing how quickly the years go by.
