September 1, 2021 at 9:59 pmMr Matthews passing is so sad and even more so while your family is still grieving. I am so sorry and hope you all share so many memories of your time together as you gather to celebrate his life. My dad worked with Levi and thought very highly of him and of course I met Tracy’s grandparents many times over the years and thought the world of them. I’m thinking of you all.

We were so saddened to hear of Levi’s passing. We have so many fond memories of him. Good times that we shared with you all. Fishing trips and card games at Musgravetown. Paul took many a trip for trout, salmon, cod moose & rabbits.
Not long after Lee’s 90th birthday, we visited him in Clarenville. We were worried that he might not be up for visitors since he was recovering from a recent hospital stay. We were wrong. He was his same cheerful & lively self who gave us his usual hearty welcome. He invited us to play a game of queens which he handily won, followed by a mug up and lots of good conversation.
Of all the happy memories we have of Lee, that one stands out. We hope the countless happy memories you have of him, will comfort you at this difficult time.
Love, Pam & Paul
