Kevin Pine October 5, 1953 - April 20, 2026

It is with broken hearts that the family of Kevin Pine of Southern Harbour announce his sudden passing on April 20th, 2026 at the age of 72.

Kevin was the heart of his family, a devoted husband, father and son.

Kevin is predeceased by his loving wife Mary Pine who he adored so deeply. His parents John and Charlotte Pine and his brothers Melvin, Ronald, Raymond, Dave and step-sister Jessie Allen.

Leaving behind a lifetime of warm and cherished memories are his daughter Roxanne (Glen), son Kevin Jr, grandchildren, Shyanne (Doug), Glen (Nakita), Sebastian, Lindsay. Great grandchildren, Myles, Kate, Ben, Brooklyn and his special friend Effie who he thought the world of. As well as an extended amount of family and friends.

He lived a life filled with love for his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was known to care for others before caring for himself, and lite up any room he walked into with his kindness, humour and his easygoing nature.

He found great peace and happiness on the water fishing, something he truly took pride in. His love for water, boats and his cabin was unlike no other. Sandy Harbour and in his boat is where he was happiest. He could be found at the wharf having a yarn or sitting in his window with a cup of tea watching the birds.

We know wherever he may go the fish will be plentiful, the laughs will be loud and the love will be shared.

As per his wishes cremation to take place. Visitation at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church on Friday, April 24 from 10 a.m. – Noon. Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Southern Harbour.
