Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 Glenda Ellis of George’s Brook-Milton aged 63 years. Predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Mabel Ploughman; step father, Vincent Ploughman; her children, Fallon and Shane; sisters, Brenda Rozon, Kimberly Ploughman; brother Rodney Ploughman; father-in-law, Malcolm Ellis. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Morgan Ellis of 41 years. Son Brandon; sister, Kathy Ploughman (Lisa Miller); brothers, Randy Ploughman (Kathleen), Rick Ploughman (Krista), Scott Ploughman (Lori); brother-in-law, Mike Rozon and a large circle of family and friends. As per her wishes, cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Clarenville on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 7-9 P.M. and Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10 A.M.-12 noon. Memorial service to take place from Fewer’s Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at the Milton-George’s Brook Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Health Sciences Center in St. John’s for their care and professionalism, also, the staff of the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville. A big thank you to Dr. Marcos, Dr. Quigley, and Dr. Harvey for their care during this difficult time. Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually the family would like to say a special thank you to all who helped Glenda during Glenda’s illness. Glenda requested that if sending flowers, in lieu of roses, to please send bright, colorful arrangements.
Memorial service to take place from Fewer’s Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at the Milton-George’s Brook Cemetery.
