Passed suddenly away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Ted Branton of Arnolds Cove, at the age of 64.
Dear father of Tj and Charlene (Cooper). Cherished Poppy to Kendall and Ella. Beloved companion of Verna.
Born to Newman and Linda, Ted was one of five siblings. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters: Wendy (Rob), Tina (Brian), Linda, and Donna.
Anyone who knew Ted felt his kindness, his humour, and the steady loyalty he offered so freely. He kept to himself, yet was warm and social with anyone he met. Even when life was hard, he carried a good sense of humour and a gentle presence that made people feel at ease. Ted will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
We want to send big thanks to the GB Cross hospital staff for all their amazing help and care that Ted experienced during this difficult battle.
His family invites you to remember him in your own way through a quiet moment, a shared story, or a memory that brings a smile. Though there will be no formal service as to his wishes, he will be cremated. He wanted his children to spread his ashes to places where he enjoyed time together with his kids.
A private family Celebration of Life service will take place at a later date.
