Edna Beatrice Lockyer June 19, 1931 - June 17, 2021

LOCKYER, Edna Beatrice – Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, June 17, 2021, Edna Lockyer of Clarenville, formerly Come By Chance, age 89 years.  Predeceased by her husband George and brother Max Stacey.  Left with fond and loving memories her sister Mildred Best; nieces Diane (Richard), Cathy (Dexter); nephew Keith (Toinette); great niece Lennon; great nephews Matthew, Joshua and Tyler; her nieces and nephews in law; a circle of family & friends and her friends at the Clarenville Retirement Centre.  Visitations will take place at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnold’s Cove on Friday, June 18 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Saturday, June 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  Covid – 19 regulations to be followed.  Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at St. Paul’s Church, Come By Chance by invitation only, please contact Cathy 427-3001 or Keith 427-0093.  Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Come By Chance.  The family would like to thank the management and staff of Clarenville Retirement Centre for their support and care over the last three years, thank you to Cookie Dywer for many years of friendship and caring and also thank you to the staff at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital for their care during her short stay.
