John James Rideout May 31, 1937 - June 16, 2021

RIDEOUT, John James – Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, John James Rideout of Terrenceville, age 84 years.  Predeceased by his wife Mary; son David, grandsons Justin Clarke, Michael Rideout and Clarence Wells; parents Michael and Josephine; and special friend Ethel Denty.  Left with fond and loving memories his children Gerald (Pam), Alfred (Rick), Josephine (Joe), Sharon (George), Barb (Doug), Wayne (Barb), Jimmy (Susan) and Donald (Lynn); grandchildren David, Andrew, Hannah, Jonathan, Dianna, Joey, April, Janine, Kaitlyn, Trudy, Griffin, Colby, Leah, Jared, Adrianne and Andrei; 17 great grandchildren; and a large circle of family and friends.  Cremation is taking place.  A memorial service will take place at a time and date to be announced later.  The family would like to thank the staff at Cozy Quarters and Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital for their support and care over the last four years.

    We were sure surprised to hear of John’s passing. He is sure missed at Cozy Quarters. He loved his family as he talked about them a lot and they were so good to him. He loved a good laugh. Condolences from all the staff and residents of Cozy Quarters
