I first saw Dorothy (then Burton) on Harbour Buffett. I was sweet on her brother Rex, who didn’t know I existed! I may have ecchanged three words with her. But I remember she was beautiful.

My next meeting with Dorothy took place a few years later when we both found ourselves Inmates (LOL) of Bishop Jones forvtwo years. She was still beautiful, inside and out, and I got to exchange many more words with no Rex around.

We met up again at the Bishop Jones reunion. Again, I was struck by her lovely smile and pleasant personality. I wish her family all the strength and love in the world., which has lost a shining star.

Hi dear Ellsworth and Alanna. I received the news of Dorothy’s passing and am so sorry for your loss. We go back a long way to when Dorothy tutored me in fractions when I was young. She was also my Mom’s dear friend. I have such fond memories of being with her and the wonderful and deep chats we used to have. I’ll miss that, and I’ll miss her and our visits. I’m so grateful for her last letter. Sending love and big hugs your way. Take care of each other.
