Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, April 20, 2024, Blanche Eddy of North Harbour, age 79 years. Predeceased by her parents Edwin and Bessie Avery; sister Phyllis; brother Gordon Avery and parents-in-law Walter and Caroline Eddy. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Clarence of 56 years; children Corinne (Perry Reid) and Colin (Brenda); grandchildren Kayla Reid, Brandon Reid, Logan Eddy and Grace Eddy; sister Yvonne Avery and brother Eleazor Avery (Myra); and a close circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Visitation on Monday, April 22 from 4 – 6 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, North Harbour. In her memory flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Daffodil Place, St. John’s. The family wishes to thank the staff of Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville and the Cancer Clinic, Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, North Harbour.
