my thoughts go back to the time MY WIFE AND i were servicing in Musgravetown as Salvation Army officers. Walter was a good friend and a beautiful Christian Man. He lived the part, and every time I met him we would have a great chat. To the family we will keep you on our prayers.

Deepest sympathy to Walter’s family. Don’t think I have ever gone to Musgravetown Post Office and not thought of Walter who was one of the most thoughtful caring postmasters that ever served in a rural post office. I remember attending his retirement party and have repeated many times, the humorous stories he told about his years working at the post office and dealing with some of the local residents. RIP Walter.
