Vivian Thistle March 14, 1957 - April 3, 2024

It is with great sadness the family of the late Vivian (Brenton) Thistle, age 67 years announce her sudden passing at her home in Shoal Harbour on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.  Viv is predeceased by her husband Ed; father Aloysius Brenton; brother Randy; nephew Stephen; parents-in-law Ivy and Harris Thistle.  Left with fond and loving memories are her mother Mary Brenton; sisters Cindy (Chris) and Mary (Roger); brothers Aubrey (Phyllis) and Calvin (Donna); sister-in-law Gena; very close friends Mona, Andrea, Linda, Janice, Brenda, Shirley, Jane and Adelaide; along with her step family, Ed’s sons Mark (Lisa) and Lyndon (Trish) & their children and his siblings Bev (Dave) and Wayne (Crystal); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Cremation will take place.  A visitation will be held at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Sunday, April 7 from 1- 5 p.m.  A visitation and memorial service will be held at a later date in Marystown.  Dates and time to be announced.  In her memory, donations may be made to the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
