Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s, Terry Smith of Arnold’s Cove aged 60 years. Predeceased by his mother, Beatrice Smith; grandmother, Violet Warren; uncles, Edgar Warren, and Wince Coles; aunts, Kay (Carolyn) Fiore, Gert (Joe) Pevie. Leaving to mourn his brothers, David (Regina) Smith, Albert Smith, uncles, Otto (Janice) Warren, Bob (May) Warren, aunts, Mildred Coles, and Sandra Warren; nephews, Josh and Daniel; and a large circle of family and friends. As per his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from Fewer’s Funeral Home in Arnold’s Cove on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. There will be a celebration of Terry’s life on Saturday at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with music and prayers all are welcome. The family would like to thank his close friends Sharon and Jeff Slade for their support right to the end. They would also, like to thank all his friends who have shared stores of friendship and who have offered condolences in our time of sorrow. Your support means so very much. Terry was a man of few words but when he got going he could talk up a storm. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to The Gathering Place.

How well I remember you all as children in Best’s Harbour. I spent many hours at your Nan’s house there.
I could go on and on about the good times we had there. The wonderful meals that Beatrice would cook from the vegetables that your nan would grow in her garden.
