Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, April 26, 2021, Sydney Giles of Garden Cove, age 79 years. Predeceased by his parents James and Amelia Giles; brother Wilfred Giles. Left with fond and loving memories his beloved wife Lorraine of 57 years; children Glenn (Holly), Keith (Jackie) and Sharon (Terry); grandchildren Aaron Giles (Taran), Candace Neville, Kaelan Maye and Dorian Maye; great grandchildren Aaliyah Giles and Deklyn Giles; sister Irene (late Donald Watkins); brother Gordon (Ruby); nieces and nephews; sisters and brothers-in-law; and a large circle of family and friends. A memorial service will take place on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville by Invitation only with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Garden Cove. No flower by request of the family, in his memory donations may be made to Garden Cove United Church Memorial Fund and mission and services.
A special thank you to Fewer’s Funeral Home, Doctors and Nurses at G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Dr. Hanna, Dr. Stockwell, Rev. Gordon Flint and Dr. Peggy Tuttle and staff at Carbonear General Hospital.
