I remember waiting on the dock in Baie Comeau, the ferry was late, Ruth & Doug were there in their trailer waiting for the same ferry. They saw me there & came over to invite me to share lunch with them. We had tea, crackers & sandwiches & a few laughs. That was something I have never forgotten.

Our condolences to all the family. We feel for your loss, and know that a powerful force is now missing from your lives. Our thoughts are with you all.

Farewell, girl. We’ve had a few laughs along the way, a few drinks, a few meals, some good times and some difficult times. We understand a lot of things about each other. We shared three wonderful grandchildren, so that has been our forever connection. Every now and then I’ll think back and smile, remembering some of the chats we had. Rest easy. They’ll all be okay.
