Martha Drodge October 8, 1945 - April 13, 2024

Passed suddenly away after battle with cancer at the Health Science Center in St. John’s, on Saturday, April 13, 2024 Martha Drodge of Little Heart’s Ease, age 78 years. Predeceased by her parents, William and Beatrice Whalen; parents-in-law, William and Jessie Ann Drodge; husband, Jack Drodge; children, Leslie and Carrie; sisters, Myrtle, Minnie (Clyde) Rodway. Left with fond and loving memories her children, Cynthia, Ernest (Anita), Daphne (Dwayne), Justin, Angus (Natillie); grandchildren, Tristan (Tiffany), Tyler, Shalyn (Sam), Tamara, Lacey (Jacob), Dylan, Kassidy (Mackenzie), Madison, Aiden, Connor, Ryder; great grandchildren, Logan, Annabelle, Liam, Ainsley; sister, Hilda (Jake) Smith; Norman (Francis) Whalen; niece Denise, nephew Greg; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home Little Heart’s Ease, Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from the Salvation Army Church in Little Heart’s Ease at 2:00 P.M. with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Little Heart’s Ease. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Science Center in St. John’s, as well as at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville for their care and professionalism. Special thank you to Dr. Natasha Pardy.

Funeral service to take place Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from the Salvation Army Church in Little Heart’s Ease at 2:00 P.M. with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Little Heart’s Ease.
