Ruby Barrington October 2, 1935 - July 10, 2026

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, July 10, 2026, Ruby Barrington of Black River, age 90 years.

Predeceased by her husband Howard; daughter Yvonne; son Karl; grandson Kurtis Barrington-Norris; brothers Frank Beck and Freeman Beck; sisters Mondella Spracklin and Edna Giles.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters Beverley (Gerald), Shirley (Geoff) and Janet (Brad); grandchildren Amanda (Eddie), Dennis, Kelly and Douglas (Rebecka); great grandchildren Julia, Adriana, Eva, Alauna, Mya, Lukas, Travis and Kendra; sisters Sheila Eddy and Gloria Eddy (George); also many wonderful nieces, nephews, family and friends, especially her special friends she made in later years Roy Lethbridge and Gertie Tucker.

In keeping with her wishes there will be a visitation at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville for family only on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 1 – 4 p.m.  Cremation will take place following the visitation with a burial at a later date.

    We knew her from clarenville retirement home when she was gertie’s roommate.
