Passed away on February 19, 2025 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, Richard Lee Cooper of Princeton Big Pond, NL at the age of 67 years. Predeceased by his parents, Shirley (nee Fowlow) and Dan Cooper. Left to mourn, son Danny and grandson Ayden Cooper, daughter Jacqueline Chard, ex-wife Vivian Chard, sister Judy (Linda) Cooper, and brother Mike, and a large circle of family and friends. As per his wishes, cremation has been done. He will be interred in the family plot, Port Rexton Cemetery, at a future date.
Rick was born in Toronto, ON and moved to Gander, NL at age 10. Following high school, he returned to ON where he worked for a few years returning to the Port Union/Catalina area where he raised his family. In recent years, Rick spent his retirement at the cabin on Princeton Big Pond which he called home. Rick was a man that loved working with his hands and there wasn’t much that he couldn’t do. He laughed and loved, living life. He is free now to travel life’s hi-roads wherever they may take him without the burdens of poor health.
Forever loved, will always be remembered.
