Passed peacefully away at her personal residence in Clarenville on February 22, 2025 Evelyn Avery formally of Southport aged 66 years. Predeceased by her parents, William and Myra Avery; sisters, Elaine Stringer, Barbara Avery; brother, Winston Avery. Left with fond and loving memories her son, Philip (Renee) of Clarenville; grandson, Lucas Churchill (Brittany Maloney); great granddaughter, Lexi Churchill; father of son, Calvin Churchill; brother in law, Garfield Stringer of Clarenville, niece, Melanie (Terry) Stringer of Clarenville; nephew, Lee (Tenille) Stringer of Clarenville, great niece, Brooklyn Stringer; great nephew, Liam Stringer; and a large circle of family and friends. As per her request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from Fewer’s Funeral Home Clarenville on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 2-4 P.M.
Evelyn touched so many lives through her love of music. May she rest in peace and sing with the angels.
