Raymond Peter Boutcher October 28, 1937 - October 20, 2026

Passed away peacefully at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 surrounded by his family Raymond Peter Boutcher (Jack) age 88 years.

Predeceased by his parents Brightwell & Elsie Wareham, son Melvin, siblings, Wilfred, Marie, Hannah, Freeman, Jessie

Leaving to mourn his wife Ethel of 42 years; sons Byron (Madlyn), Raymond (Golda), Bob (Heather); grandchildren Shelby, AJ, Keara, Rebecca, great grandchildren Ava, Isaac, sisters Joan (Jerry) Williams, Shirl (Gus) Warren, Trudy McLean, Joyce (Lorne) Barrett Nina (Jim) Chatterson brother Norm (Nellie) Wareham; sisters-in-law Ena Wareham; special sister Elsie Johnson, Beatrice Butler, Susie Butler, Violet Maye, Marie Downer (Terry); brother-in-law Mac Frampton (Marilyn), Bill Frampton, many nieces & nephews, family and friends.

Ray (Jack) enjoyed life everyday to the fullest with family and friends doing things he loved berry picking, walking, woods and music.

Being the oldest, he loved to share his knowledge of family history leaving a lasting impression on everyone that was fortunate enough to know him.

Ray (Jack) will live on in those who loved him!

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Salvation Army Church in his memory!

Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnold’s Cove on Thursday, October 22, 2026 and Friday, October 23, 2026 at 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Salvation Army Church in Arnold’s Cove with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold’s Cove.

The family would like to send a special thank you for the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses, and staff of the ICU and Palliative Care units at the G.B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville.

The family would  also like to send a Thank you to Captain Stephen Frank and Pastor Julia Ball for visits and praying with Raymond and his family in his final hours.
