Nellie Frances Seward May 23, 1924 - April 27, 2022

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on April 27, 2022 Nellie Seward of Gooseberry Cove aged 97 years.  Predeceased by her parents Edward and Clara Hoskins;  husband George; sons William and Alonzo; sister Annie Belle; sons in law Ed and Otto.  Left with fond and loving memories her children, Austin (Clarabell), Dorothy (Eric), Alena, Rowena, Alvin (Valerie), Hubert (Bernice), Merlin, Terry (Michelle), Darren (Bonnie), Rod (Nikki); 20 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; 10 Great Great Grandchildren; sisters, Lucy, Anna, and Sophie; brothers, Edward (Vida), and Bill; and a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Little Heart’s Ease on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 7-9 P.M. and Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.  Funeral service to take place from Bethany United Church in Little Heart’s Ease on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.  Interment to follow at the Southport United Cemetery.  In keeping with COVID recommendations masks will be required for visitations at the funeral home and at the church service.

Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Little Heart’s Ease on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 7-9 P.M. and Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.  Funeral service to take place from Bethany United Church in Little Heart’s Ease on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M.  Interment to follow at the Southport United Cemetery.  In keeping with COVID recommendations masks will be required for visitations at the funeral home and at the church service.

    Sending my condolences to all of the Family. Nellie was an amazing lady who always had a smile that filled your heart with such warmth and comfort. She had a special way about her that showed in the love she had for her family and friends. I am so honored to have had the privilege to be included and to have shared the last 14 years with Nellie and her family. She will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss her everyday as well as remember her for the beautiful lady that made me feel welcomed and loved. RIP Nellie xo
