Morley Reuben Tilley March 30, 1939 - May 30, 2024

Passed away suddenly at Cozy Quarters in Clarenville on Thursday, May 30, 2024 Morley Reuben Tilley of Clarenville (previously from Grand Falls-Windsor) aged 85 years.  Predeceased by his wife of 62 years Gladys Tilley, his parents Frank and Maude Tilley, Grand Falls-Windsor; sister Clara Duder (Ed), Grand Falls-Windsor; brother-in-law Roy King, Random Island; niece Rona Brown, Ontario; father and mother in law William and Lilias Crann, Grand Falls-Windsor; brothers-in-law, Jack Crann (Connie), New Brunswick; Derek Austin, Happy Valley- Goose Bay.  Left with fond and loving memories his daughters, Trudy Davis (Erwin), Clarenville; Nicole Tilley, St. John’s; grandchildren, Hillary Davis, Edmonton and Allie Davis, Toronto; sisters Loretta King, Random Island; Audrey Lush (Albert), Grand Falls-Windsor; brothers, Ed Tilley, Grand Falls-Windsor; Aubrey Wheeler (Wavey), CBS; sisters-in-law, Edna Adams, (Alvin) Grand Falls-Windsor; Beverly Austin, Happy Valley-Goose Bay; brother-in-law Charlie Crann (Nora) Bonavista;  nieces and nephews,  Maynard, Heather, Darlene, Trudy, Jill, Peter (Vikki), Heather, Stephen, Audrey, special niece and nephew Sherry and Morley King.  As per his wishes cremation will take place.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clarenville SPCA or Newfoundland Diabetes Association.

    Please know that we share in your loss with Moe’s sudden passing.
    He was family but also a friend that was always willing to help in any way he could.
    We will be forever grateful to him and Sis for always being there for our family.
    We still have the phone table and foot stool he made for us years ago!

    We love you all and will keep you in our hearts and prayers.

    So very sad to hear the news of Moe’s passing. I haven’t seen Moe since he moved from Grand Falls-Windsor. Whenever he came to Dominion where I worked we would have a great chat and a few laughs.Moe was a super person and I always considered him to be one of my favourite cousins. He is reunited with his love, Gladys. Thinking of his family and sending sincere condolences. RIP Moe.

    Trudy, Erwin, girls and Nicole’, so sorry to about Moe. Our condolences to all of you. Your Dad was a sweet kind soul. I remember him being so nice to me.     Trudy, Irwin , Nicole and girls;
    We were sorry to hear of Mr. Tilley’s passing. I remember him from university days, a fun loving fellow who loved his daughters beyond measure. (That trunk full of jeans was indeed a heavy lift.)Treasure those precious memories. Sending love and condolences to you all.
