Sending my deepest condolences to all the family on the loss of dear Mini. I have such fond memories of growing up next door and the constant warmth and welcome she and Eliab always extended. Even after all these years away in NL, her familiar call from her door step to me as I was walking down the road of “Is that you, Diane?” always made me feel like I was home. I’ll always remember Mini’s little Volkswagen and the adventures we had around the yard. And who could forget the old car in the back garden where we kids would play – even if it did result in a few tears (my hand once got caught in a slammed door)! I also have such fond memories of the baby chicks and kittens, and Mini’s gentle reminders to Colleen and me to be a little kinder to them or as Mini would say, ‘Stop maulin’ the kittens!’. Those were such happy times. I will truly miss those moments and her kind spirit. Thinking of Mini’s kids (my cousins,) and everyone who loved her in St. Jones Within. May she rest in peace.
