Dear Debbie, Karen, Kevin and all the family,
We are so sad to hear about your Mom. Aunt Minnie holds a special place in our hearts…. loving and generous with a wicked sense of humour. We so missed seeing her the last couple of years, with the covid restrictions, and Clarey especially missed the “Christmas in July “ gatherings of the clan. We are thinking of you,
    Love, Dolores, David, and Family

We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughtS have been and will continue to be with you all.
Minnie was such a wonderful positive thinking person full of fun, wit, knowledge, shared memories, kindness, love and so many other great qualities that it would take quite a while to list. She always had a kind word for everyone and supported so many people through sharing her quilting space and knowledge, her cooking, her story telling, her resourcefulness and her time for every person who came her way.
I remember so many times with her. Like the time we went raspberry picking and she was so excited about a patch she got right in the middle of it. I heard her laughing and she said I got in here but I’m not sure how I’m going to get out.
No matter what life throw her way she just kept on living and enjoyed all that life brought her way. She had such a great sense and enjoyment of adventures and life. And she sure could make her own fun too.
She was an important part of Dave’s life growing up and in adulthood and was an important part of my life and our families too. Anyone who knew her or spent time with her was the richer for the experience. She will live on in so many people’s lives and in the differences she made to their lives.
When I heard this quote I thought it captured Minnie Goodyear to a “T”

“SHE LONGEST LIVES, WHO MOST TO OTHERS GIVES, HERSELF FORGETTING”
