To Joliffe, Anne, Brian and your Family. We are so saddened to hear of Millicent’s sudden passing. I had the pleasure of first meeting Millicent when I first moved to Clarenville some 20+ Years ago through things dealing with the Kiwanis Music Festivals here in Clarenville and have kept in touch off and in ever since with both her and Joliffe on a more personal nature. From what I knew of her she was a lovely, caring, dedicated Lady not only to her Family but to all that she did. Please accept our sincerest of condolences and we pray that the love of your Family and Friends help you all through this most difficult of times.

I have been forever grateful that in the summer of 1992 Mr. and Mrs. Quinton visited me in the hospital after I’d given birth to my daughter. Such thoughtfulness was very much appreciated. I’m also grateful for the many years of involvement in the musical life of the Clarenville area, which helped me to become who I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

    Joliffe,
It was only last year following the accidental death of your son that I came across your name. Needless to say, it was both a reminder of a treasured friendship and gross negligence on my part. How I wish I could atone for not contacting you following that summer’s warm encounter at Bishop Abraham! I could have got to know your now departed loved ones, and consolidated my friendship with you.
Sadly, the void I feel is testament to a lack of appreciation of one of life’s most important values.
“Few things have such a huge impact on happiness and the enjoyment, depth and plain fun of life as the friendships we have.” – Henrik Edberg
And so I can offer only vicarious condolences for the tragic loss of part of your family.
    So sorry, my friend.
