Passed away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday November 4, 2026, with his family by his side, Michael Tickner, age 83 years. Michael was originally from England and moved to Canada in October of 1975, living in Ontario for many years and most recently residing in Sunnyside, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland.
Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Marjorie Tickner; sister Frances Jennings; brothers Peter and David.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 58 years, Jennifer; children Caroline (David), Richard (Carla) and Sarah (Danny); grandchildren Emily and Christopher; great grandson Isaac; brother Christopher (Jeanette) and many extended family and friends.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Sunnyside of Life, 201 Main Road in Sunnyside.
