Mary Margaret Hickey June 6, 1933 - June 19, 2025

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at the Lions Manor in Placentia on Thursday, June 19, 2025 Mary Margaret Hickey aged 92 years.  Predeceased by her parents, Philip and Agnes Power; parents-in-law, Peter and Mary Caul, husband, Alphonsus; son, Jim; brother, Mike (Rose), Phillip, Willie.  Left with fond and loving memories her children, Frank (Valerie), Mike (Rosemary), Anne (Gord); daughter-in-law, Cindy; grandchildren, Patrick (Kelly), Michael, Darren, Kassandra (Ryan), Marissa (Peter), Kyle (Ashley), Samantha (Mike), Chelsea (Noah); great grandchildren, Damon, Kaden, Thomas, Kayleigh, Whyatt; sisters, Catherine (Jim), Matilda, Doreen (Pete), Nellie (Albert); step-sisters, Annie Frances, Kathleen (John), Clara (Pat), Mary (Bill), Margaret; brother, Ray (Peggy); sister-in-law, Hannah; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Southern Harbour, Saturday, June 21, 2025 4-9 P.M. and Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 2-5 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place from Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Southern Harbour on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. Internment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery Southern Harbour.  In her memory flowers grateful accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Lions Manor Unit 1 in Placentia.  You were all so wonderful the custodian staff, cooks, nurses you all went above and beyond, we thank you for that.

Funeral service to take place from Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Southern Harbour on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. Internment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery Southern Harbour.

    So sorry for your loss. My mom Rita Connors was at Beachside with your mom. They sat at the same table and another lady also Mrs. Yetman. They were called the Golden Girls. Cherish your memories
