Margaret Jane Vey April 27, 1931 - May 20, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Jane Vey on May 20, 2021  at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by husband George and parents William and Grace (King) Miller. Leaving to mourn sons Wayne (Glenys), Glenn (Beverly), Kevin (Diane), Darren and daughter Grace (Leslie) Dean. Left with precious memories are grandchildren Dwayne Vey, Jarrod Vey (Nicole), Alana MacPhee (Michael), Amy Cahill (Matthew), Emily Vey (Luke), Josh Vey, Sonya Vey (Grant), Rachel Vey and Lydia Vey and great grandchildren Mackenzie, Delilah, Zachary and Owen Vey, Abby MacPhee,  Emily and Jane Cahill. Also left to mourn brother Robert Miller (Eva), sisters-in-law Gwendolyn Peddle, Sylvia Vey and brother-in-law Roy Vey as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins and a wide circle of friends. Resting at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Long Beach, Trinity Bay on Saturday, May 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. Mark’s on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2 p.m. Covid regulations to apply. Individuals planning to attend the funeral service please contact Calvin Lambert at 427-2492. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Long Beach.

    So sorry to hear of yyour mom’s passing. I remember her well. She was always a beautiful Lady. And I can see she grew old gracefully and beautiful. I have been to her house in Long Beach when I would go to Aunt Alice’s to visit. Again so very sorry.
