Passed away at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Lorne Michael Lambert of Hatchet Cove, aged 57 years.  Predeceased by his parents Harrison and Belinda Lambert; sister Fanny Lambert; brother-in-law Chris Braniff.  Left with fond and loving memories his son Luke Watton; sisters Ella (Gary), Darlene (Robert), Patricia, Velma, Cindy (Craig); brothers Calvin (Valerie), Don (Velma); nieces Amelia, Adrienne, Megan, Taylor; nephews Christopher, Jeremy, William, Garrett, Ryan, Alexander, Harrison and their families and large circle of family and friends.  Resting at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Hatchet Cove on Thursday, July 9, 2026, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service 2:00 p,m. on Friday, July 10, 2026 at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Hatchet Cove with interment to follow at St. Stephen’s Anglican Cemetery, Hatchet Cove.

    Very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I remember having a few laughs with him and the gang, playing softball, carrying on. My sympathies to all his friends and family.

    To Don and the family,
    We are so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We haven’t seen him much in recent years. We got to know him when he went to school here in Hillview when I was here. We were thinking last night of several years ago at a party when Mike picked up a guitar and while picking on one string recited all 18 verses of the song “The Diary of One Now Dead” by Ellis Coles.
