Mary Linda Walsh of Coachman’s Cove, aged 74 years, passed away in Clarenville, Newfoundland on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Predeceased by her parents William and Margaret Bailey; brothers Jerome, John, Donald, and Alphonsus; her parents in law Abraham and Bridget Walsh; brothers in law Douglas, Abraham, Joseph, Patrick, and Lawrence; sisters in law Elizabeth, Mary, Louise, Madeline, and Catherine.
Leaving to mourn with broken hearts and loving memories, her husband of 54 years, Gerard (Gerry); her children Roxane (Chris) of Fort McMurray, AB, Sandie (Michael), of Clarenville, NL and Trent (Sheri) of Clarenville, NL; grandchildren Danielle (Jaydon), Logan (Emma), Kallie, Lucas, Ryan, and Dylan; sisters Florence (Gerry) of Ardrossan, AB, Julia (Stan) of Edmonton, AB, and Regina (David) of Fort McMurray, AB; brothers Jim (Alice) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Terry (Cheryl) of Norris Arm, NL, and Bill (Sharon) of Edmonton, AB plus a very large circle of extended family and friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. Visitation and burial services will take place at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Baie Verte, NL, on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at St. Pius X RC Cemetery, in Baie Verte, NL.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, and Emergency Services who cared for her during this time.
