It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Hepditch, of Southern Harbour, announce her sudden passing on March 24, 2024, age 71. Linda was predeceased by her son Jason, parents Cecil and Clara Giles and parents in law Thomas and Alice Hepditch.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of happy memories her husband of 52 years, Thomas, her children Dale (Linda), Harry (Kim), Madonna (Derrick), and Cecil (Jennifer). Grandchildren, Bret, Tyler, Courtney, Riley, Kaylee, Karson, Hannah, Mahalia and Joey. Her brothers and sisters, brothers and sisters in law and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Until retirement Linda worked alongside her husband fishing. She and Tom would spend most of the year in Haystack where she loved to put up her outdoor lights and greet the occasional visitor. Her laugh was infectious and she loved a good game of cards. She fought a courageous battle with cancer over the last year and even when she was feeling her worst her smile and sense of humor shown through. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Graveside service and burial will take place 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Christ the King Cemetery, Southern Harbour. A luncheon will follow at the Foggy Bay Gathering Place, Southern Harbour.
