Lillian Bennett September 29, 1942 - September 16, 2025

It is with deep sadness that the family of Lillian Bennett of Brooklyn announce her passing on September 16, 2025 at the age of 82 yrs.

Lilly cherished her family above all else and was a constant source of warmth, love, and laughter.

She had a lifelong love of music, which brought her so much joy. Her summers staying at her home in Brooklyn admiring her precious rosebush always brought her so much pride and delight which brought out her most beautiful smile. Not to mention her apple tree which she anticipated the Fall to check on her apple blossoms. Lilly was blessed to spend her winters in Labrador with her loving Sister Bernice and Brother-in-Law Gerald (Gerry), doing puzzles and enjoying wonderful home cooked family meals.

She will be lovingly remembered and tremendously missed by all her family and friends. Sister Bernice (Gerald), special niece Tina (Al), Sister-in-Law Adela, nieces and nephews, cousins, and Treasured friend Jackie.

Predeceased by her parents Marjorie and John, Brothers Roy (Irene) and Maurice.

An intimate cemetery burial with family and close friends to put Lilly to rest will be Saturday, September 20th at 2pm.

Throughout the spring and summer Lilly was provided home care through Total Care which she incredibly enjoyed and was very grateful for.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care the nurses and doctors provided Lilly in her final days at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The United Church Cemetery fund, Brooklyn.

An intimate cemetery burial with family and close friends to put Lilly to rest will be Saturday, September 20th at 2pm.
