Larry Skiffington June 18, 1964 - March 12, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Larry Skiffington, age 61, announce his passing on March 12. 

 

Larry was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the love he had for his family. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 

Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Valerie Skiffington; his brother, Stephen Skiffington; his father, Pearce Skiffington; his father-in-law, John Penney; his brother-in-law Baxter Penney; and his niece, Crystal Dillon.

 

Leaving to mourn his passing are his loving children: Chantille (Jamie), Crystal (Chris), and Gloria (Trevor).

 

He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Cassady, Cheyenne, Chayla, Isla, Jack, Jackson, Mackenzie, Tristan, Selina, and Olivia, who brought great joy to his life.

 

Larry is survived by his brothers Craig (Jillian) and Gord, and his sister Trudy. He also leaves behind his mother Jessie (Joe) and his mother-in-law Eva.

 

He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers-in-law Todd (Donna), Glenn (Barb), and Robert (Verda), and his sister-in-law Karen (Bob), along with a large circle of nieces and nephews.

 

Larry also shared a special bond with close friends and family: Stephen Skiffington, Bowman Skiffington, Bram Cramm, and Corey Quinton.

 

Visitation will take place at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Lethbridge on Tuesday, March 17, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Lethbridge on Wednesday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m.

 

Larry will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

    To all of Larry family l am deeply sorry for your lost. Even though Larry is my wife’s third cousin myself and Larry became good friends at work where l first met him but heard his name many times before this. Larry was a great man very kind and à friendly giant.

    Larry may you rest in peace my friend l can not believe l was only talking to you 2 days ago. I know you are with Val now fly high buddy
