March 17, 2026 at 10:04 pmWe are saddened to hear about the passing of our cousin Christine. I have wonderful childhood memories of time spent in Port Blandford with Christine, Scott, Aunt Florence, Uncle Reuben, Cynthia and Bob. Christine treated me like one of her own. I couldn’t wait to get on the CN bus to spend summer vacation with them. We would go to Clarenville to see Aunt Shirly or she would come visit us. Memories I will cherish forever. Our condolences to Scott, Evan, Jaxson, Cynthia, Bob, family and friends.

March 18, 2026 at 6:54 pmTo. Scott, Evan and the Mugford and Efford families:
Let me add a few words to all those, near and far, who are fondly remembering a true friend. Christine exemplified many enviable qualities in all facets of her wonderful life, both with her family and in the wider community. She was genuine and positive in every way. Upon entering a room, her presence was like a breath of fresh air and a ray of sunshine. Whenever I returned to visit Port Blandford, Christine always welcomed me at church with her characteristic smile, open arms and very kind words of faith and respect.
As the days come and go, Scott, may you and your family be strengthened and encouraged by her example and upheld by the peace of God which surpasses all human knowledge.
With deepest sympathy, Rev. George Demmons (Maitland Bridge, Nova Scotia)
