Passed peacefully away on October 15, 2023 at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, with family by his side, John Edgar Green, age 92 years of Arnold’s Cove. Predeceased by his parents, William Harrison Green and Ettie Rachel Green (nee Dowden); Wife Edith (nee Senior); granddaughter,Victoria Jade and Stepson David. Left with fond and loving memories his children, Olive (Wendell), Wanda (Chris), Wade (Kim), Edward (Michelle); grandchildren, Amanda (Joe) Crystal, Andrew(Christina), Zachary, Brady (Chelsea), Nicholas, Chloe, and Jessi (Chris); great grandchildren, Sean, Max, EJ, James, John, Mason, Skylar, Vincent, Courtney, Leifur, Lucas and Irelyn. Special mention of his long time best friend Maxwell Eddy as well as a large circle of family and friends. Visitation to take place on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from Fewer’s Funeral Home in Arnold’s Cove from 12 Noon-8 P.M. Funeral service to take place from the Anglican Church in Arnold’s Cove on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery in Arnold’s Cove. We would like to express a big thank the wonderful staff at the Hilltop Manor for the great care and compassion that you all provided to our Dad for the short while he was there. A huge heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and nursing staff at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital., Your fantastic care and compassion with our Dad will never be forgotten. We are very grateful and humbled for all the calls messages and visits from all our extended family and dear friends. Your kindness meant the world to us all. Special thank you to Rev. Rowena Wareham and Phyllis Guy for the Holy Communion prayers and words of comfort, it was a great comfort to Dad.
