KNEE, Hubert Cecil- Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 aged 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Daisy; son Roger; daughter Gwendolyn; sisters Mary Lou and Olive. Left with fond and loving memories his son Roy (Sheila); daughter-in-law Ruth; grandchildren Pamela, Robin (April), Heather, Kayla, Kendra (Thomas), Hillary, Cody, and Cally, great grandchildren Lily, Elyse, Nadia, Brady and Drew, brother Stafford (Marie); cousin and caregiver Beulah Howell, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Resting at the Anglican Church, Jamestown on Thursday & Friday January 9th & 10th, 2020 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at the Anglican Church, Jamestown with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Jamestown.

January 9, 2020 at 5:34 pmSo sorry to hear of Hubert’s passing. He was a wonderful man. We always remember him being so kind. He and Daisy ran the local store/hangout for us teens years ago. Always very patient with us. After moving to Toronto he was our go to guy for lobster on our return for summer vacation.
