HOLLOWAY, Herman – Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, Herman Holloway of Lethbridge, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents John and Mabel Holloway; siblings Minnie, Edna, Kizzie and Albert; nieces Maisie and Greta, and brother and sister in laws. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Rhodena; children Wanda (Eugene), Roger (Sherry), Derick (Celina), Kathy (Terry), Darrell (Audrey), Myrven (Bonnie), Cory (Tracy) and Trevor (Trina); grandchildren Jason, Krista, Roy, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Kayla, Jorden, Sara, Matthew, Scott, Shane, Holly, Kelsi, Justine, Brent, Bailey, Sommer and Jaxon; 21 great grandchildren, sister in law; Eva Penney and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Visitation to take place on Friday, April 30, 2021 by invitation only. Covid-19 restrictions will apply. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the United Church, Lethbridge. Service will also be by invitation only. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Church, Lethbridge.
The family would like thank the management and staff at the Clarenville Retirement Centre, where Herman and Rhodena resided together for over 2 years. Thank you to staff at the G.B. Cross Hospital in Clarenville where dad was well looked after. Thank you to the staff of Golden Heights Manor for the care and compassion dad and all the family received during the last few weeks of his life. We would also like to thank Drs’ Blaine Pearce and Paula Pye for their attention and care over the years.
