The Trucker’s Prayer
Lord, please help me to be safe as I travel each mile.
Let your presence guide me and bring me a smile.
Take care of my family while I am away.
Let them know I miss them each and every day.
Steer me clear of danger as I drive these miles alone.
I put my hands in yours, Lord.
Keep Me Safe, Get Me Home.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Harvey was a true friend especially to the King’s Cove & Area Fire Department. When the Department’s building was destroyed by the storm we were left without a garage to store out 5 ton pumper truck, and with winter coming on it it was Harvey who made a wonderful and kind offer to loan our Department, with no charge, the use of his garage to store our truck as long as we wanted to use it. In addition to just providing a building he kept close watch over our valued asset and even assisted in setting up a heating element to ensure the water in the tanks and lines would not freeze.
More than a kind gesture, a true community leader stepped forward in our time of need.
Again to Dot and family take care and God Bless.
