Ephriam Carpenter August 7, 1944 - March 11, 2026

Passed away peacefully at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Ephriam Carpenter of Clarenville, age 81 years.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Lillian Carpenter; wife Rowena; daughter Tamara; brothers George and Keith and sister Carol.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Patricia Kirby (Darrin); grandchildren Eva and Daniel; sisters Anne (Gill), Lorraine, Jean (Glenn), Janice (Wayne) and Donna (Dave); brothers Roy, Glen (Karen), Ben, Terry and Scott; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Friday, March 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, March 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Memorial United Church, Clarenville.  Interment to follow at United Cemetery, Church Hill.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor in care of Discovery Health Care Foundation.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor and Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital for their excellent care.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Memorial United Church, Clarenville.  Interment to follow at United Cemetery, Church Hill, Clarenville.

    I lived for a short time with Eph and Rowena many years ago. I still have wonderful connections with the Carpenter family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in these difficult days. RIP Eph.

    To Patty and all the family…..I lived with Eph. and Ro. back in the day in Toronto….great memories especially of Tammy when she was little! I connected again when they were back in Clarenville.
