On March 5, 2026, Andrew Horatio Seaward of Clarenville, Newfoundland passed away peacefully in his 94th year.
Born in Clarenville on March 6, 1932, Andrew was known for his love of trains and his woodworking skills and had dedicated his life to his long-standing career with the Canadian National Railway. He was a beloved father of two sons … Paul (Shawna) and Walter (Della) and grandfather to his loving granddaughter, Ashley (Dan) and two wonderful great grandchildren, Talan and Addison.
He is survived by his devoted partner of many years, Alma Colbourne, and was preceded in death by his previous wife, Lillian Moss Seaward (mother of Paul and Walter), as well as both of his parents, and all of his seven siblings.
The family is truly appreciative of the kind care provided by the staff of the Golden Heights Manor in Bonavista during his two-month stay. We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to Lisa Janes from Comfort Home Care for her dedicated commitment and caring over the years.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal memorial service, though a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
He will be ever loved and missed …

Cyndi Seaward (from across the road) and Mom (Phyllis) would like to pass on her condolences as well. We all grew up as neighbours so pretty much knew him all our lives. So sorry for your loss.
