It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of Dianne Mary Penney, at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, on Saturday, April 23, 2022. She was surrounded by family and love in her final days. Dianne Penney of Lethbridge, aged 61 years, is predeceased by her father Rendell Ducey, her father-in-law George Penney, mother -in-law Emma Penney, sister-in-law Jill Vincent-Strong and niece Terri-Lynn Holloway. Left with beautiful and loving memories, her husband June Penney; daughter Gwen Ducey; mother Audrey Ducey; siblings Chris (Cindy), Paul (Joann), Ken, Larry, Beverly, Tamara, Lisa (Jason), Renee (Will) and a large circle of relatives and friends. A special thank you to “the girls” at Cozy Quarters, who became Dianne’s friends and took such good care of her the last few years. Also, thank-you to Dr. Woodfine, Dr. Jen and most of all, the caring and kind hearted nurses who went above and beyond to make Dianne’s last days comfortable, and made sure that her family were all comfortable as well. As per her wishes, cremation to take place. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Lethbridge on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM. A private service will take place at a later date.
