Dean Picco March 25, 1971 - October 21, 2020

Passes suddenly away at our cabin in Salmonier Line on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 Dean Picco of Mount Pearl aged 49 years. Predeceased by his father Joseph. Left with fond and loving memories his fiancé Roxanne of 5 years; step children Tara, Theresa (Andrew), Daniel (Bailey); step grandson Mason; mother Cynthia (Victor); siblings Michael (Shannon), Kevin (Tammy), Darlene (Darren) and their families; large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home Arnold’s Cove on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour with cremation to follow.

Funeral Service will take place at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church Southern Harbour on Monday, October 26, 2020 with cremation to follow. Funeral Service will be INVITE ONLY. COVID -19 Rules will apply.

    Dean, I have lots of childhood memories of you, while we we all at our cabins out in St. Joseph’s Placentia Bay. Lots of soccer, baseball, hide and seek, tag. You name it we all played it. Can’t forget our time we spent out rowing around in the harbor from the beach up to the cove. You were a good friend. Gone way to soon my friend.       Dean, you were my father for 15 years and poppy dean to my girls. I have so many memories of our family I will hold onto forever. I know how much you loved me and your girls. No matter what I know you loved me as a daughter and I loved you as a dad . I hope you rest in peace knowing how much you were loved by all. I am going to have a piece of me missing for the rest of my life but I know you are always with me. Chloe said she is going to miss going to feed the ducks with her poppy dean. Samantha is going to miss you so much and I’m sorry u didn’t get to meet Eleanor but I will tell her stories about you and how much of a fun Loving person you were.     Rest easy Dean, you were a kind person and Mom loved being around you! When I was still single and not feeling well I will always remember the time you helped me move! We had a great chat in the uhaul that day on North Harbor Road! Taken way too soon! You must be needed as an angel! My deepest condolences to your fiance and all your loved ones.

      My deepest condolences to you all. It’s been while since I’ve seen it spoke with Dean but we attended and buddied around at the Marine Institute. His laugh was loud and he had a jovial spirit. Always had giggle and laugh. My God this breaks my heart to hear of his passing but I know He’s laughing still. Rest easy old friend.

    We are sending our deepest condolences to all of Dean’s family during this very difficult time..we were so saddened to hear of Dean’s passing..Dean was a wonderful person who always had time for a chat & always had a smile..no job was to big or to small for Dean..we watched him work hard at building his cabin on North Harbour Road & we couldn’t wait to visit him again there when he had it finished.

    I have many great memories of Dean from working with him in town to the trips he had to Burin. Dean was a kind and giving person who would do anything he could to help someone.     I have so many precious memories of you as a young boy when i cared for you and your brothers and sister when your mom & Dad were working. You always wanted to help me no matter what i was doing.     On behalf of the Teamsters Union office staff and membership we offer our deepest condolences to the family and to Roxanne, Dean was an amazing person and member alike, his work as a Shop Steward recently involved working on the covid committee, negotiations and observer safety check list to name a few. His work with the union also took him to Spain in 2017 representing his peers at the International Fisheries Conference. He will be missed.. Rest In Peace Brother
