Charles Porter August 17, 1963 - September 24, 2022

Passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center, Charles Scott Porter aged 59 years of Clarenville. Leaving to mourn wife Dianne; sons Nolan (Julia Caines), and Blair; mother-in-law Molly Franson; brother-in-law Eric (Shawnda) Franson along with relatives and friends of the Porter, Balsom and Gibbons families.

Over the years Charlie had a significant volunteer presence in the community, coaching Soft Ball, Soccer and Minor Hockey for a number of years throughout his life. Also having served as an Auxiliary Constable with the Clarenville RCMP for 15 years.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal funeral service. There will be a private cemetery service at a later date for family only.

Due to his love for animals, especially dogs, In his memory donations gratefully accepted to the Clarenville S.P.C.A. (www.clarenvilleareaspca.ca/ways-to-help/donate ) or to charity of one’s choice.
