Carol Brown – Fewer's Funeral Home

Passed away after a brief illness at the Heath Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Sunday, August 2, 2026, Carol Brown of Musgravetown, age 74 years.

Predeceased by her son Michael and her parents Frank and Joan Simmonds.

Left with fond and loving memories her husband Randy of 54 years; sons Jason (Amy) and Justin (Nancy); grandchildren Gavin, Luke and Amelia; sister Jean Pye (Clarence); brothers Christopher (Karen), Perry (Peggy) and Ricky (Dawn), nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge on Wednesday August 5, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Heritage United Church, Musgravetown with interment to follow at United Cemetery, Musgravetown. In her memory flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic or Daffodil Place, St. John’s.

Funeral service 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2026 at Heritage United Church, Musgravetown with interment to follow at United Cemetery, Musgravetown.

Randy, I’m so glad I stopped by to visit you and Carol when I was on vacation two months ago.
For years, Carol used to invite me to see you two in Facebook interactions and it always ended up as a ‘I never got in to see them this time I was handy, there’s always next time but I promise I will visit.’
In June when I went to Cannings Cove to visit my grandparents down in that cemetery, I decided I was not coming up through Musgravetown without dropping in as I had put it off far too long.
Boy am I glad that I visited that time…you just never know when it’s your time to get called home.
Please accept my sincere condolences on her passing. Know that she will take her seat in eternal paradise and please don’t forget to take care of yourself as you find your way through this difficult time.
